About Jane Doe
The feeling to express myself in an artistic way is like an alchemical act of permanent search. Alchemy as an esoteric credence linked with the transmutation of matter and the search for the philosopher’s stone makes me draw a parallel between the ancient alchemist and the artist. It takes place spontaneously, like an almost imperceptible change of color, of shape.. expressing different emotional conditions. Consciously or unconsciously the artist is an alchemist of his sentiments. This journey to the unconscious where we enter, looking for ourselves, leads us to want to understand an eternal world in the sense of the smallest particle. It is the “fabrication of lyrical particles”, as Samuel Beckett would say, which we can capture by noting almost invisible pieces of the border of perception and transparent reality. This is how the artist turns into the alchemist of sentiments presenting himself naked when creating his world. Exposed to the world.
